I sank all the potatoes I got back in April during a nursery buying spree. By the time they hit the dirt most were so dried out I wasn't sure they would grow even with the minor growth on them already ( Read more... )

I just got back from picking up some final veggie plants as well as gopher repellent type plants and some soil. Along with another bale of straw for the ground, I am plan on fixing up raised bed 3 for the last of the heat loving plants. Maybe I can get some okra and cucumbers for Mom ( Read more... )

Well by now everyone should know that California experienced an earthquake. I think 5.7 mag located in Barrego Springs about 20 miles from Palm Springs. Basically in my area which is freaking. So I am home early no gym today. Mom said her recliner shifted on the floor while at work the whole building rocked from side to side. It lasted a good 30 ( Read more... )

Got some more planting mix so I can finally put down the salad bed which will include onions, radishes for kicks, a few carrots, more lettuce I purchased along with onion seeds and plastic water bottles to take place of the ollas I can't afford right now.
